Our client is on a pivotal transformation journey, with a focus on placing customers at the heart of everything it does. As part of this strategic change, a newly scoped role has arisen for an experienced compliance professional to add value to the broader Risk and Compliance team, in a strategic and hands-on role that plays a key part in strengthening the organisation’s compliance maturity.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will assist with establishing and implementing the Compliance Management Framework, with a strong focus on obligations management. You will be responsible for identifying regulatory obligations, mapping them to business areas, and ensuring they are clearly owned and effectively managed. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll embed compliance into business processes, configure and maintain Protecht workflows and reporting tools, and provide governance updates to senior stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to impact quickly and will suit a pragmatic and hands-on compliance professional with at least seven years’ experience in senior compliance or governance roles. You will bring a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, obligations mapping, and compliance standards, and experience using GRC tools like Protecht will be highly regarded. To succeed in this role, you will be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident influencing senior leaders to drive meaningful change. Melbourne based.
