About the role

Join the property development team at Blackwell Group as a fulltime excavator / plant operative based in Wollongong, NSW. This hands-on role will see you operating a range of construction machinery and equipment on a variety of our family company projects across in Helensburgh and nowra . As an experienced operator, you will help us deliver and maintain our properties and projects

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operating excavators, dozers , tracked bobcat and tractors and other construction plant and equipment

Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs on assigned machinery

Interpreting plans and specifications to complete tasks to the required standard

Identifying and mitigating safety risks on-site

Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure seamless project delivery

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in plant operation including an excavator tickets minium 10 years experience

Proven experience as a plant operator, ideally in a construction environment and rural properties

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance

Sound understanding of construction methods, practices and safety requirements

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

skills working unsupervised reporting to owners on our development sites projects and farms on hills, based in Nowra and Helensburgh, leveling and compacting, drainage, rock walls, rural roads, lands, loading soil and rock, tree work, rock breakers and attachments must be able to do paperwork and must be fit and able to get off machine sometimes and work.

we offer a full time stable job where you are guaranteed work we are open to casual or full time, salary or wages or abn , we can include Ute after probation 3 month period , bonuses for performance , we are after an a grade operator with experience and will pay top dollar for that , if you don't have experience at least 10 years please don't apply .
