About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Dig Deep Excavations (NSW) Pty Ltd in Penrith, NSW. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a variety of plant and machinery, including excavators, post tracks and graders.

Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment

Follow all safety procedures and work in compliance with environmental regulations

Liaise with project managers and site supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Provide support to other team members as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 months experience as a Plant Operator in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction equipment operation and maintenance

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills
