About the role

Sprouts School of Early Learning - Margaret River is seeking a full-time Diploma qualified educator to join our vibrant and caring team in Margaret River, WA. As a key member of our early learning centre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational experiences and care for children aged 0-5 years.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning programs that support the individual needs and development of each child
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children to support their social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth
• Collaborate with families to understand each child's unique interests, needs and goals
• Maintain accurate records, observations and documentation to inform curriculum planning
• Ensure a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and policies
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice
• Work as part of a close-knit team of dedicated early childhood professionals

What we're looking for

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)
• Demonstrated experience working as an early childhood educator, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences
• A genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of young children
• A current Working with Children Check and first aid qualification
