Diploma Qualified Educator (Fixed-Term – Maternity Leave Cover)

Compensation: $30.56 - $32.97 - based on experience and qualification.

Full-Time | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Monday to Friday | Full Availability between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm

We’re looking for a warm, passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our well-loved Atlantis Early Learning Centre located in Yanchep on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

This role offers a genuine opportunity for continued employment within the Atlantis and Tall Tree network beyond the contract period, for the right candidate.

To be considered for this role, full availability Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 6pm is essential.

About the Role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator at Atlantis Early Learning Yanchep, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 0 to 5. You will work alongside a dedicated team of educators to plan and implement engaging learning programs that cater to the developmental needs and interests of each child. As an Educator, you will:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning programs.
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through guided activities and play.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children.
• Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Work collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
• Assist in managing daily routines and transitions, ensuring smooth and positive experiences for the children.
• Uphold all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including child protection and health and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Educator who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting the growth and development of young children.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Be experienced in curriculum development and confident in creating meaningful, play-based learning experiences.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Be proactive, nurturing, and committed to creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Be a team player, contributing to a collaborative and supportive workplace.
• Be available for flexible working hours and committed to consistency for the children in your care.
