Position Overview

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Stock Control Manager to ensure seamless operations within our warehouse. Your contributions will be integral to maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our inventory processes, helping drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Tasks:

Accepting and receipting stock orders.

Physically replenishing the Hose Mate inventory.

Organising Point of Sale material in the front showroom in consultation with the Stock Control Manager.

Processing customer orders using Fishbowl software.

Picking and packing stock to fulfill customer orders efficiently.

Entering purchase orders in collaboration with the Stock Control Manager (approval required before submissions).

Client Services and Collaboration:

Assisting in the servicing of clients to ensure a positive and seamless experience.

Monitoring warehouse supplies and advising the Stock Control Manager when replenishment is necessary.

General Responsibilities:

Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment.

Represent Hose Mate (WA) Pty Ltd respectfully and professionally in all interactions.

Respectfully represent Hose Mate (WA) Pty Ltd in your role.

Contact Hose Mate clientele on behalf of the company.

Provide quotes to Hose Mate clients as authorised representatives.

Any other tasks as required

You will directly report to the Stock Control Manager, who will provide guidance and oversight to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for someone with:

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clientele.

Experience with warehouse operations and stock management (preferred but not essential).

Basic understanding of inventory and order processing software (such as Fishbowl).

Previous Hydraulics and Industry experience (preferred but not essential).

Forklift license preferred but not essential - we can pay for this for you!
