DG Farming is seeking an experienced and reliable Farm Hand to join our close-knit team on our cotton and grain operation in Central Queensland. Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain irrigation systems

Perform general farm duties including planting, maintenance, and harvesting

Operate and service a range of farm machinery and equipment

Monitor crop health and assist with pest and weed control

Carry out various tasks as directed by farm management

Requirements:

Prior farming experience is essential

Current driver’s licence and own transport

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, including night shifts and some weekend work

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Truck licence is an advantage but not essential

Accommodation & Local Community:

Accommodation provided on-farm, with options for both singles and families

Located near local schools in Theodore and Moura, with school bus access for families

On-farm work vehicle (Ute) provided for job duties
