About the role

Join the team of passionate and committed farmers at Clapham Ag Enterprises' as a full-time Farmhand at Brookstead QLD. In this hands-on role, you will be integral to the day-to-day operations of our thriving agricultural enterprise, contributing to the overall success of our farming operations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with a variety of farm tasks such as planting, irrigating, harvesting, and maintaining crops

Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

Performing general farm maintenance and repairs as required

Ensuring the well-being of livestock through feeding, watering, and monitoring

Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to promote a safe workplace

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a farm or agricultural setting, preferably in a farmhand or labourer role (minimum 2 years experience)

Strong practical skills and the ability to operate a variety of farm equipment and machinery

A keen interest in sustainable farming practices and a new ideas

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address issues on the farm

A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with others

A valid driver's license and the physical fitness to perform manual farm tasks
