Position details
- Full Time Permanent Position
- Classification: Senior Management Remuneration Level 2 with a salary range of: $168,000 - $181,002 per annum + Superannuation
- Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
- Location: Nationally - remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered
About your new role
Reporting to the Executive Director, Operations and as a member of the National Leadership Team (NLT), the NLEPL leads, embeds and elevates Lived Experience principles and expertise in operational practice, strategy, governance, and organisational culture across Neami.
The role plays a critical national leadership role that inspires, influences, supports, guides and develops contemporary evidence-based Lived Experience practice across Neami. This includes maintaining a strong connection with the Lived Experience sector and supporting the organisation with their understanding of the broader Lived Experience movement.

What you will bring to the role
- Lead the scoping, design, application, establishment, development, implementation and embedding of contemporary evidence-based Lived Experience practice across Neami through governance, culture, workforce guidance & development, decision-making processes, and service design.
- Lead, champion and support Intentional Peer Support and Collaborative Relational Practice as the underpinning practice approaches.
- Lead organisational policy development and review relating to Lived Experience practice, procedures, guideline development, and research/evaluation initiatives in collaboration with the National Practice Lead as required to do this.
- Provide expert strategic advice to the Executive Leadership and NLT on relevant Lived Experience practice, external research, policy and stakeholder environment.
- Provide expert advice to practice governance functions and structures across Neami to support transdisciplinary practice and on elevating Lived Experience practice.
