Our client, a fast growing, Australian owned business specialising in the supply of healthcare equipment used primarily in Community, Aged Care and Hospital settings is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to achieve the Company’s sales and profit targets through the development and implementation of strategic sales plans, as well as effectively leading and managing the Company’s sales teams.
Some of your responsibilities will include:-
Achievement of agreed sales and gross profit targets.
Develop and implement an effective strategic sales plan, with a clear vision on market channels, sales, profit and practical actions on short and long-term activities
Penetration of new markets where the company does not have distribution
Manage a successful sales team to new, higher levels of sales and profit performance, covering all markets, including Aged Care, Dealer and Hospital
Inspire sales staff to share their vision and support them to reach a common goal
To develop training and performance evaluations to mentor and grow the sales program
Establish sales incentive systems (commissions) to motivate representatives
Conduct fortnightly and quarterly team meetings
Participation in planning and formation of the company’s marketing strategy
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant companies
As a member of the Senior Management Team contribute ideas and plans for the success of your teams.
Ideally you will have:-
Minimum 5 years of relevant sales managemet experience, ideally within the health care/hospital/dealer segment or consumer retail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage others (staff, dealers, end users, influencers)
Ability to self-manage and work to deadlines
Act with a sense of urgency to ensure the needs of Company internal and external customers are met.
Ability to work collaboratively with range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong Microsoft skills and ideally SAP and Hubspot
Passion and energy with a roll up your sleeves mentality
