We are working with a large QLD Government Department, who are seeking a Supervisor to lead the delivery of a variety of maintenance and minor works projects. Working closely alongside the Operations Manager, this role will see you responsible for inspecting properties, managing contractors, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and completing relevant paperwork.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects with a focus on safety, timeliness, and compliance.
• Supervise and support the performance of office staff, field workers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct detailed condition assessments and develop accurate cost estimates to guide effective project planning.
• Prepare high-quality tender and quotation documents, estimates, trade packages, material lists, and construction programs.
• Undertake building inspections and surveys
• Drive a proactive safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, leading on-site inspections, and participating in safety audits.

About You:

• Construction industry related trade qualification is highly desirable
• Experience in maintenance and minor works projects
• Knowledge of WH&S and compliance activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Current Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) General Safety Induction Card
• A current driver's licence - as there will be overnight travel required with this role
