You're a digital expert who is chasing better strategy, cleaner systems, and faster optimisations with support from a highly talented team of mentors who can take you to the next level of your learning in digital marketing.

For example, we have mentors in our team who are ranked by Google as Google Ads top advertisers, coupled with other team members who have Masters in Marketing, Data analysts turned Advertisers and ecommerce store owners and even a Chartered Accountant. Collaboration is a core value, so get ready to lean on and learn from our experienced team whilst we also learn from you too!

Who: Warm fuzzy intro's aside, we’re not here to chase unicorns, we simply want someone smart, switched on, collaborative, with four legs, a horn, is magical and ready to grow in a team that backs action over ego. Please note, if you do rock up to the interview with a carrot on your head, we may give you extra points or look at you awkwardly… followed by a long silence with side glances… waiting for someone to speak, or neigh 🦄

What: As a key member and keyword warrior of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in account and client management for paid advertising and/or SEO, as well as other digital strategies for our growing clients. This includes analysis and reporting, client relationship building, marketing strategy, copywriting, ad platform optimisations and creative direction. You will manage your client ads accounts and work directly with your clients.

When: Monday-Friday. Minimum 3 days in the office with 2 days (optional) work from home. You must have an excellent at home internet connection and at home office working environment.

Where: Our office is located just off the highway in Tweed Heads (Northern NSW / Southern Gold Coast, QLD). Perfect if living on the Gold Coast or around Byron Bay, Cabarita Beach and Tweed Heads. Open to applications from the Sunshine Coast as we have a new Sunny Coast office too, but ideal candidates can work in our head office in Tweed Heads weekly.

Genuinely though, we are showing up differently, sharing a unique approach to separate ourselves from the 6000+ agencies littering the east cost of Australia. For example...

Our brand new creative studio downstairs, GRAVITATEstudio.com.au just launched. It's a state of the art creative space that has had the likes of Harley Davidson Australia, and high end fashion brands shoot professionally in our space. We created this business to support our clients and to give our team better access to professional creative for websites, ads, socials and more.

GRAVITATE Digital is diverse in backgrounds and the team comes from all walks of life... We are a 100% Australian team with no offshore workers. Nothing against offshore workers, but we just like our team culture, quality and security tight and the staff close to one another to make collaboration and team events and parties more fun.

We work in pods. Teams of staff that work together on our clients marketing efforts. You're not alone and you'll forever be learning from one another.

We have an AI division, departments for SEO, paid ads, email marketing, website, socials, video and content production and branding too. There’s never a boring day and if you are stagnating, learn something new in a different department. We encourage cross training so if you take (up to) a 6 week Europe holiday, our team can cover you and you can galavant around the world without being bothered.

Don't know all there is in digital marketing? We're down to teach and mentor you if you have the attitude and passion to learn fast. We run weekly training sessions with our team, having consultants come in for all kinds of reasons so that you can keep a finger on the pulse with digital evolutions. Everything from SEO, Ads, Email and even sales consultants running lunch and learns. We even had a mortgage broker speak to some of the team last year as there was a few people buying houses.

We're ranked by Australian Financial Review as Australia's top 100 fastest startups two years in a row (2024 and 2025). This is why we're expanding and you're reading this. We're growing fast.

We have been a 1% for the Planet Member and are currently support endometriosis and men's mental health as our two causes we care most about this year. Giving a portion of all our revenue to charities we believe in. Giving back and conscious business practices is at our core because marketing for greedy brands isn't fun.

We learn daily, care a lot about our clients and each other… and have expectations to deliver high quality results. After all; happy, successful long term clients are why we're in business. Expect dedicated collaboration, accountability, creativity, down to earth banter, team munchies and continuous learning and development.

Expect semi-regular social events, lunches, arvo drinks, the odd coffee on the house... Absolutely no corporate ick. Whilst we’re not full kumbaya, we do love the occasional breath work session and yoga mornings to mix it up (if you’re interested, obvs), plus the odd surf in the morning, long lunch, or golf afternoon.

The Requirements

An attitude to own your clients, tasks and outcomes. Grabbing the bull by the horns is a key requirement 🐂

Ideally 2+ years of Paid Ads, SEO and/or agency experience. To be frank, the dream is that you're a rare Paid Ads, SEO, AI genius. A dream-mix of paid ads and SEO knowledge and all things digital marketing, including a sprinkle of AI since it’s going to take over digital marketing (if not already). If you're not on top of all these digital pillars, thats ok. If you have the attitude and make the cut, we're willing to show you if you show up ready to learn and you learn ridiculously fast.

A degree in marketing, psychology, communications, media, business, accounting, statistics, graphic design, creative writing, administration or similar. We ultimately need someone who can read numbers whilst also having a perfectionist creative eye.

Experience with Paid Ads Platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon and/or LinkedIn. At least Meta and Google ads as a minimum.

SEMRUSH, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and other SEO tools don't make you think of Kermit yelling at first glance 🐸

A no drama attitude. Aint nobody got time for dat.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can command a room and face clients.

We are a measurable marketing agency. You nerd out on numbers, yet have a creative flare that supports your data lead decisions.

Ability to think strategically and develop effective growth strategies. Strong understanding of current Paid Ads and SEO best practices and trends is a must.

Copywriting like Shakespeare… but art thou' funnier? You slay with one generation but can talk revenue numbers with a balding board of directors a moment later. A clear understanding of brand tone of voice is key. Extra points if you’re a gun at spelling and grandma. As with any position at GRAVITATE, an eye for detail is key 😉

Experience building and managing paid ads campaigns for all stages of the marketing funnel.

You are a problem solver by nature who can keep your cool in stressful situations. Calling your references, they probably would say you're resourceful and can solve problems efficiently.
