About the Role:

Our Client, a local and family-owned Tilt Tray business, is seeking a Licenced Truck Driver (HR) to join their busy team in the Clarence Valley. We are on the hunt for a reliable, safety-conscious Tilt-Tray Truck Driver, to work fulltime hours, Monday-Friday, with the addition of overtime on after-hours call-outs, and cover a rotating roster for weekends and after-hours services.

What is Available:

Position: Fulltime Tilt Tray Truck Driver (Tow Truck)

Location: Initially the Clarence Valley - however, we cover locations far and wide, to suit our customers' needs

Standard Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm + overtime and callouts, and every second weekend on call

Pay Rate: Permanent hourly rate of up to $33.00, plus overtime and callout fees, + superannuation

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy rigid tilt tray trucks, to pick up and deliver a broad range of equipment, machinery and vehicles
• Safely load and unload in an efficient and safe manner
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Use an online mobile app for job and task management
• Communicate effectively with your supervisor and the client/customer
• adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times

Essential Criteria:

• Current NSW HR Truck Licence or above
• Current Tow Truck Certificate, or, willing to obtain (note, this process may require police checks and online forms, and can take 4-6 weeks to complete)
• Willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Ability to pass a criminal history police check
• Towing or tilt-tray experience
• Good physical capacity, with ability to perform manual handling tasks and sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to commence as soon as possible (with ability to accommodate a notice period), and ability to physically commence work in Grafton, on a daily basis
• 2x contactable work-related references
