About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused Receptionist to join our team at the Blue C Coolangatta holiday apartment building in Coolangatta, QLD 4225. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable stay.

What you'll be doing

Warmly greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure

Handling bookings, enquiries and check-in/check-out processes

Providing recommendations and information about local attractions, activities and dining options

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the reception area

Liaising with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests

Responding to guest queries and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner

Performing other administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or front office role, ideally in the hospitality industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing situations

Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel management software. Experience using Resly or similar programs is preferred.

Availability to work a flexible schedule.

A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
