A leading technology company is currently seeking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of a high performing cloud services team based in Canberra ACT.

You will be responsible for a large system implementation, deployment and upgrade project, while ensuring the seamless operations and optimisation of the cloud Infrastructure and hosted products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, deploy, upgrade, and manage cloud infrastructure and hosted software.
• Design and launch key SaaS applications and management tools.
• Write automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Set up monitoring, security, and auditing tools for applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications, batch jobs, data stores, and load balancing.
• Participate in on-call rotation duties.
• Plan and implement new systems to support changing business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud services and applications.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to support knowledge sharing and compliance.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years experience supporting or implementing cloud infrastructure or business application operations.
• Hands-on with AWS services like Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, and VPC.
• Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Skilled in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Unix system administration.
• Proficient with Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerised apps.
• Experienced with Git for version control.
• Knowledge of GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills for automation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must have a high-level government security clearance.

Salary Package: $190K-$200K (incl. Base Salary, Superannuation, Bonus)
