Informatech is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to support critical ICT delivery initiatives within their Federal Government Customer. This is a high-impact role leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable Microsoft Azure solutions while engaging with technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to shape future technology direction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of secure cloud solutions aligned with ISM and Essential Eight requirements.

Define and promote robust Azure architecture using Infrastructure as Code and containerisation technologies.

Identify and implement new technologies to drive efficiency and reduce costs.

Maintain and enhance existing cloud and hybrid environments.

Troubleshoot and provide technical support for complex systems.

Create and update comprehensive technical documentation.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Support other tasks as directed.

Technical Skills & Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in architecting, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure environments.

Proficiency in secure cloud design with a strong grasp of the ISM and Essential Eight compliance frameworks.

Experience with remote connectivity solutions such as VPNs and/or SASE platforms.

Background in cloud migration or transformation projects.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Australian Citizenship and a minimum AGSVA NV1 clearance.
