Through the Sale Role at Wellness Department, you will play a vital role in generating new leads, selling gym memberships to prospects and new members using a variety of effective sales strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fitness, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and enjoys building long-term relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
Understand Prospect Objectives:
Take the time to understand each prospect's fitness goals, preferences, and buying criteria to establish a genuine and long-term relationship.
Tailor your sales approach and recommendations based on individual prospect needs and objectives.
Implement Diverse Sales Strategies:
Employ a mix of prospect calling, retention calling, lead generation, external activations (Outreach, B2B), and follow-up to maximise sales opportunities.
Set appointments with prospects and diligently follow up on a daily basis, addressing inquiries and referrals.
Provide Solutions and Recommendations:
Offer relevant solutions and recommendations to re-engage existing members and improve overall sales volume.
Ensure members are aware of the gym's offerings and benefits, assisting them in making informed decisions.
Manage Time and Meet Targets:
Take ownership of your time management, working independently and as part of a team to reach and exceed sales targets.
Embrace consistent product and sales training to enhance your selling skills and optimise performance.
Generate New Leads:
Conduct outreach regularly on a daily basis to generate new connections with members of the public.
Encourage potential clients to take a step towards fitness by promoting the gym’s offerings and creating an inviting atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Passionate about fitness and dedicated to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
Patient, level-headed, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Skilled in sales techniques and comfortable engaging with prospects over the phone and in person.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong drive to generate new business.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and think quickly on your feet.
Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards.
Flexible availability, able to work up to 30 hours per week, including weekdays (between 9am-9pm) and weekends (between 10am-5pm).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Google software and systems is a plus.
