We're on the lookout for a self-motivated Quarry Operator to join our team at East Guyong Quarry!

Role Overview: Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, this is a permanent full-time position from Monday to Friday, with plenty of opportunities for overtime and Saturday work.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as be willing and able to work a varied operator role including general maintenance duties.

What's the Job Like?

• Location: You'll be based at the East Guyong Quarry, which is situated about halfway between Bathurst and Orange on the Mitchell Highway in Central NSW.
• Hours: This is a full-time position and most days will start between 5-6am.
• Pay: We pay a base hourly rate of $32.32 with a weekly pay cycle. Overtime kicks in at time and a half after 8 hours, and double time after 10 hours in a day
• Heavy Machinery: Get hands-on experience operating mobile equipment like Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders, and Excavators.
• Safety First: You'll be a part of general fixed plant maintenance and inspections, where keeping everything running smoothly and safely is the top priority.
• Teamwork: In peak times, everyone rolls up their sleeves and contributes to any quarry tasks needed. It's all about team spirit and getting the job done together.

This role is a great fit for you if you:

• Have experience operating a Loader, Dump Truck, or Excavator is beneficial - but if you're eager and ready to learn the ropes, we can train you!
• Have a passion for operating heavy machinery
• Are fully committed to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership - safety comes first, always.
• Can strictly follow pre-start and maintenance procedures for both fixed and mobile plant.
• Are comfortable working both within a small team and independently.
• Bring a professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude to everything you do.
• Medical Check: You'll also need to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
• Safety: Some of our machinery have weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
