About the role

Sydney Recycling Park is currently seeking a dynamic and multi skilled Operator to join the team at our Kemps Creek branch. The role will involve utilising various machinery and conducting general labouring tasks on a day-to-day basis;

• Front End Loader
• Excavator – Grab attachments...
• Haul Truck
• Screens
• Shredders

This machinery will be used to segregate different waste types received for processing and reuse or recycle. Hours will be Monday to Friday from 7:00am – 17:00pm with overtime available. Some half day Saturday work will also be required. You will be reporting to the Sydney Recycling Parks Operations Manager,

The Role

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Operator various excavators, loaders and material handlers.
• Screening and processing materials.
• Communicating with customers.
• Basic machine checks, greasing etc.

About your experience

• Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy machinery
• Able to work unsupervised and independently
• Strong focus on safety with the ability to engage and communicate to operators for safe and efficient processing
• Excellent time management skills and flexible to daily requirements
• An elevated level of attention to detail
• MR license preferred
