The Montague Hotel South Melbourne is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team.
We are a family run business who pride ourselves on treating everyone with respect and making sure everyone feels at home.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role (including ordering, stock rotation, with an eye for presentation)
Confidence in all aspects of cookery and managing staff in the head chef's absence.
The right candidate will have experience working in a fast paced, high volume pub environment. Strong communication skills and good under pressure.
Must be able to work well in a team setting as well as work unsupervised and have a positive attitude.
You will be required to work weekends.
Full Time Position, 40 hours a week over 5 days.
Salary is depending on experience.
