At Elkira Court Motel we know it is our people who make our Company a success!

We are currently seeking a part time handyman/maintenance grounds person to join our friendly team to attend to general repairs and outdoor grounds maintenance for our property.

The hours can be flexible, around 15 hours per week anytime during the day time is ok. and we can discuss your availability upon interview.

Job tasks and responsibilities

· Mowing, watering, pest and weed control, tree pruning and general horticultural care to our garden.

· All-rounder with a wide range of repair and maintenance skills (Basic carpentry , general handyman , plastering/painting, simple plumbing)

· The successful applicant will be able to work in a physical environment, have the right attitude and able to work both autonomously and part of a team.

· Be well presented, timely and able to communicate in a professional manner.

Skills and experience

Applicants Must have previous experience as a general handy person and grounds person. This is a hands-on role. Attention to detail is the key to this position

The successful applicant should:

Have a minimum of 2 years general repairs and ground maintenance experience

Be honest and reliable

Have an eye for detail and willing to ensure customers receive service above expectations
