About the role

Fowles Wine is seeking a Qualified Chef to join our team at our winery location in Avenel, Victoria. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers in our restaurant and cellar door. You will be an integral part of our close-knit hospitality team, contributing to the overall dining experience and helping to drive the success of our food offering.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of dishes for our menu, ensuring consistent high quality

Collaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are upheld

Assisting with ordering and stock management to support efficient kitchen operations

Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any special dietary requirements

Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

Formal chef qualification and several years' experience in a similar role

Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene

Passion for creating and delivering delicious, high-quality dishes

Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
