A Support Coordinator helps people with disabilities understand and implement their NDIS plan, connecting them with appropriate supports and services. They work to build capacity, improve well-being, and foster community participation. Key responsibilities include understanding the NDIS plan, connecting with providers, and managing budgets.

• Assist NDIS participants to:

o Implement their plan and increase their capacity to manage/direct their own supports

o Have greater opportunities to explore and connect with their community and alternative

support options

o Strengthen their informal support networks

o Maximise the value for money they receive from their supports

o Access and use the NDIS Participant Portal myplace

• Effectively communicate and maintain relationships with the NDI
