Allied Health Assistant - Walking on Air Podiatry

Location: Zillmere / Bracken Ridge

Employment Term: Flexible - Full Time / Part Time / Casual

Remuneration: starting from $35 p/hr + Super + bonus

About the role:

We are seeking a Certificate IV qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Walking on Air Podiatry in North Brisbane. Working under the senior Podiatrist, your role will involve supporting the delivery of high quality healthcare services which include but are not limited to:

Assisting podiatrists with patient assessments and treatments

Assist physio therapists with patient exercises and treatments

Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments

Providing administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records and ordering supplies

Engaging with patients to understand their needs and provide a positive customer experience

Assisting with basic podiatric such as nail cutting, applying dressings, assisting with footcare education

What we're looking for

Must have completed Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

Someone with enthusiasm and willingness to undergo training on the job

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, their families and the healthcare team

Excellent organisational and time management skills

A passion for providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
