About the Role:
The Clinical Lead AOD Nurse within Forensic Mental Health Inpatient Services (FMHIS) at Canberra Health Services provides clinical leadership, education, and care coordination for consumers with alcohol and other drug (AOD) co-morbidities in a forensic inpatient setting. Based at the Dhulwa unit in Symonston, this role is responsible for coordinating access to AOD services across CHS and the broader community, leading the FMHIS AOD team, and supporting best practice care for patients in custody. The position plays a key role in service development, quality improvement, data analysis, and implementing evidence-based treatment, while actively contributing to multidisciplinary care and the senior nursing leadership team.
