Registered Nurse- level 1 at TMS Specialists Clinics (trading as Citta Clinic)

TMS Specialists Clinics is a specialist psychiatry center in Deakin, ACT. We have a well-established neurostimulation and Esketamine program that has been providing high quality treatments to patients from Canberra and neighboring NSW.

We are seeking Registered Nurse, for our rTMS and Esketamine treatment program in a private outpatient specialist centre.

This position will be attractive for nursing staff who would prefer a work life balance away from busy hospital shift work, working in a relaxed day care setting.

Training will be provided.

We are offering a one year contract with possibility of extension. Both part time and full time applicants are welcome to apply.

Key duties and responsibilities

Deliver rTMS, Esketamine and other treatments offered at the Clinic

Maintain high quality clinical notes on EMR

Assist psychiatrists in assessments and feedback on patient progress

Liaise with practice staff, referring doctors and local health providers for care-coordination

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role you will:

Be a Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration, who enjoys facilitating the very best outcomes for patients

Have current certificate in basic life support

Have an interest in mental health, and a flexible approach to working hours to meet treatment requirements in day care setting

Strong consumer focus and ability to engage with patients and their families constructively in a therapeutic framework

Be able to operate with electronic medical records
