4 reasons disability services' is seeking a Female Support Worker to join our team in Highett, VIC. This is a casual role, allowing you the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming

Providing companionship and engaging clients in recreational and social activities

Helping clients with household tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry

Supporting clients with accessing the community and attending appointments

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care or disability support sector

A strong understanding of the support needs of individuals with disabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)

Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
