Wren Support Services is looking for casual support workers to join our team!

Specifically seeking a female support worker (as per current client needs) for various shifts throughout the week.
Needing someone with good availability, including regular weekend work.

We are a proudly boutique company, having launched August 2022, and we are growing! Led by Erin, with 20+ years experience in disability, working closely with a small group of amazing support workers. We provide individualised supports to NDIS participants in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne and part of the Mornington Peninsula.

Currently we are seeking casual support workers for varied hours that will build over time, as we continue to grow. Current clients are located in the south-east, Casey/Cardinia/Frankston areas. Looking for dedicated support workers who truly care about the work they do.

Job Description:
All our participants have individual needs which may include

Assistance with daily living activities;

Personal care as needed - eg: showering, toileting assistance

Recreational activities, study support, medical appointments

Community access and participation

Working on development of life skills, for independent living.

Light household tasks - dishes, washing, vacuuming etc

Transportation – kms transporting participants are paid as per individual client service agreements

You will need:
- Qualification in individual support/disability or working towards and/or previous experience as a support worker
- Lived experience of family/friend caregiving highly regarded
- NDIS screening check
- NDIS Orientation module
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Police check
- Driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle that can fit a 4 wheeled walker in the boot!
- A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to engage in reflective practices

Workers who are happy to "float" and jump in last minute to cover staff leave are particularly sought after.
