We’re looking for a Customer Services Officer to join our growing team at Trade Skills Australia – a leading provider of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) services for trades workers across Australia.
Our team helps skilled workers gain formal qualifications through RPL – and we’re on the lookout for someone who thrives on accuracy, loves working in systems, and enjoys playing a key role in guiding candidates through their journey.
About the Role
This position supports our enrolment and assessment teams by managing candidate documentation and maintaining our internal RPL portal. You’ll be responsible for data entry, phone and email communications, and ensuring every file is clean and compliant.
You’ll need excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and confidence working with cloud-based databases. If you love ticking boxes, moving tasks along, and getting things done properly the first time – this is your kind of job.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate and assist with the enrolment of Candidates looking for RPL.
Provide friendly and professional phone and email support to candidates and partners.
Accurately update records and manage candidate documentation in our internal systems.
Ensure compliance and data integrity across all candidate files and enrolments.
Respond to general enquiries, guiding clients through our RPL process.
Work closely with assessors and enrolment staff to keep candidate files moving.
Follow procedures and use initiative to solve problems and resolve issues.
What We’re Looking For
Proven admin/data entry experience – ideally in RTO, education, trades, or a regulated industry.
Fast and accurate typing and confident digital literacy (cloud-based systems, CRM, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Experience in records management or compliance is highly regarded.
