Position Overview:

The Care Worker Manager will play a critical role in leading and managing our care staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This position involves overseeing recruitment, compliance, and ongoing support for care staff, while collaborating with Care Managers and Resource Planners to maintain a skilled and efficient team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocacy, employee development, and operational excellence in the healthcare sector.

What Attributes You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for care and is driven to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have:

Management Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the healthcare or social care sector.

People and Culture: Experience in recruitment processes, performance and motivation of staff.

Communications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for staff and clients.

Organizational skills / Attention to Detail: High-level administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Commitment to Excellence: A strong understanding of care regulations and standards, with the commitment to meeting and exceeding care standards.

What Responsibilities You'll Need:

Lead the recruitment process for care staff, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Coordinate booking of care staff into the induction program for seamless onboarding.

Conduct annual staff reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for growth.

Ensure compliance with training requirements for care staff, including ongoing education and skill development.

Maintain regular communication with field team members to foster a supportive work environment.

Advocate for care staff, addressing and resolving complaints and incidents in a timely manner.

Explore and implement new sourcing strategies to achieve care team growth targets.

Oversee management of sick leave and annual leave for care staff to ensure adequate coverage and resource availability.

Ensure resources and staffing levels meet the demands of consumers, maintaining service quality and client satisfaction.
