Full-Time Bookkeeper – Landsdale

Specialized Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our Landsdale team on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position responsible for managing the full scope of financial and bookkeeping activities, ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and carry out all core bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

Prepare and analyse key financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards and regulations

Support the management team with sound financial advice, reporting, and analysis

Assist with budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning

Provide oversight and mentoring to junior accounting staff when required

Actively manage credit control, including direct phone follow-ups with clients regarding overdue invoices in a stern, professional, and courteous manner

What We’re Looking For

A minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounts management role, ideally within a small business or accounting practice

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Xero is essential

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

Demonstrated skills in financial reporting and business performance analysis

Exceptional organisation and time management skills

Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field will be highly regarded
