Leopard Controls is seeking a talented Controls Design Draftsperson to join our in-house design team. This is a key role for someone who thrives on technical precision, enjoys collaborating with engineers and project managers, and is looking to grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for designing Mechanical Services Switchboards (MSSBs) and Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems using AutoCAD Electrical, based on project specifications and team input. Your work will directly support the manufacturing process and contribute to successful project delivery across Western Australia

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret project specifications, schematics, and scope documentation

Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and document points lists

Design MSSBs and DDC layouts using AutoCAD Electrical

Generate detailed manufacturing drawings, terminal schedules, and BOMs

Assist with quoting by identifying design requirements and material needs

Work closely with the manufacturing supervisor to ensure smooth project handover

What You’ll Bring

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (essential)

Previous experience in MSSB and/or BMS/DDC control system design

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical integration

Ability to read and interpret construction documentation and specifications

Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills
