Senior Town Planner
Location: Gold Coast | Full-Time

Our Client is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Senior Town Planner to join their thriving Gold Coast studio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a people-focused planning and design consultancy delivering meaningful outcomes across local and regional projects throughout South East Queensland.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects, developing strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality planning outcomes on time and within budget. Your day-to-day will include preparing and lodging development applications, analysing and interpreting planning legislation (including the Planning Act 2016), and contributing to tenders, submissions, and strategic proposals.

They are looking for someone who is confident, self-motivated, and a strong communicator with a passion for great planning outcomes. You’ll be working alongside a supportive team in a collaborative environment that values both autonomy and teamwork.

What You’ll Bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning

Minimum 6 years’ industry experience

Strong knowledge of SEQ and Gold Coast planning frameworks

Familiarity with development assessment processes under the Planning Act 2016

Proven project management and client liaison experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Australian residency required
