Deputy Service Leader – Lucas Heights Community School OOSH, Barden Ridge
Part-time | Mornings & afternoons, Monday to Friday | Full days during school holidays

We’re on the lookout for someone steady, kind and ready to take the next step.
Our Lucas Heights team is growing and we’re after a Deputy Service Leader - someone who can help hold things together and jump in wherever needed. You’ll be supporting a full-time Service Leader who runs the show, but you’ll be right there beside them helping guide the team, support the kids and keep the service running smoothly.

This is a leadership role, but you’re not on your own. You’ll have guidance, structure and the space to grow. If you’ve got experience working with children and you’re ready to step up (or sideways!) into something more stable and fulfilling, we’d love to hear from you.

The role in a nutshell:
• Helping run a safe, fun, and well-organised before & after school care program
• Backing up the Service Leader and stepping in when they’re away
• Getting to know the kids and families and building strong, warm relationships
• Supporting your team and making sure everyone feels confident and included
• Helping with programming, behaviour support, transitions and routines
• Being that calm, consistent presence everyone can rely on

• Want a stable Monday to Friday role with split shifts (and full days in holidays)

To get started, you’ll need:
• A valid Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004)
• Certificate III or higher in Children’s Services (or working towards)
• Some experience working with children in OOSH or early years
• Availability Monday–Friday for both morning and afternoon shifts, and full days during holidays
