Early Childhood Montessori Trained Teacher

Caboolture Montessori School is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher with Montessori qualifications to join our Early Years team. The ideal person will embrace new ways of thinking and learning as we reimagine our Early Years learning hub.

Our School

Located on a 10-acre rural site five minutes north of the Caboolture CBD, Caboolture Montessori School (CMS) is dedicated to offering a Montessori education program for children from age 15 months through to Year 6. Our vision for the early years program is to nurture and ignite the exceptional potential within each child by curating a dynamic and wonder-filled learning ecosystem.

The Opportunity

We seek a full-time, permanent Montessori-trained Early Childhood teacher for our 3-6 Early Years program. A qualified teacher with Montessori training can help foster children's natural curiosity about the world and cultivate a passion for continual learning and development.

About the Role

The ideal teacher will have a passion for Montessori education and a strong desire to work within a collaborative and innovative Montessori environment. They will be responsible for planning and implementing an exceptionally high-standard Montessori early learning program and performing non-financial administration duties. Previous experience in an early childhood Montessori setting is a must.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to support the child and their development by working alongside them and their family, using effective communication and understanding;
• Ability to develop strong, nurturing relationships with the children based on respect and trust;
• Have high motivation for achieving excellent standards of education with strong and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the content and structure of the 3-6 curriculum and child development, with the ability to use a range of teaching techniques and materials;
• Ability to document children’s learning activity; and confident using multiple digital platforms for recording and capturing learning;
• Excellent working knowledge of EYLF, NQS/NQF, and the Montessori framework for learning for children aged 3-6.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
• Be a curious and engaged lifelong learner and
• Have a growth mindset

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Early Childhood Teaching qualification, with experience in an Early Years Montessori 3-6 setting;
• Queensland Teacher Registration
• A reputable Australian 3-6 Montessori diploma;
• Current Blue Card or exemption for paid employment;
• A relevant First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain;
