We are seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at our Ipswich Centre.

SunRise Kids is a family owned and operated business with 5 Centres throughout Brisbane. Our Ipswich centre caters for 75 children per day with one approved Kindergarten Funded Program.

As the Early Childhood Teacher you will be responsible for the delivery of our Queensland Kindergarten Program.

The position available:

Full Time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to deliver our Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)- Completed, or

Bachelor of Education (Primary) plus a Diploma in Early Childhood, or

An ACECQA approved qualification as Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)

A current: (or willing to complete) First Aid Certificate and Blue Card/ exemption (working with Children's Check)

Willingness to work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities and skills:

Excellent Knowledge of the Qld Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework

We are looking for a teacher who is inspired to develop and deliver the program, working closely with the supporting Kindergarten Educators.

A teacher who understands that each and every child brings their own uniqueness to the program.

High level of skill in observing children's progress, documenting their learning and using this information to guide future planning.

Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive, and respectful learning environment.
