Our client is seeking a Record and Archiving Lead on a full-time basis. (12 month contract) Your role as a Records and Archiving Lead will involve:

• Build and sustain strategic working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, government
• Work closely with the Privacy Reinforcement Project team and other business units as required to ensure seamless archiving activities and address any information management related issues
• Provide weekly reports to the Project Manager Privacy Reinforcement Project on progress to date
• Monitor and report on the performance of archiving activities, making adjustments as required
• Manage Record Archival team
• Work to review existing archive boxes, files and folders ensuring information contained in those boxes, files or folders is catalogued and is captured into Content Manager

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience leading a team or project towards deadlines
• Information Management Diploma or equivalent (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience applying the Principles & Standards of the State Records Act (WA) 2000
• Archival experience and applying retention and disposal schedules
