Fixed term role available - Start 16th July 2025 until 31st Oct 2025.

This is truly a career enhancing role, in its limited tenure you will be able to make an impact and support the service and some of it stakeholders with fresh ideas and a new perspective.

As the Service Delivery Manager - Technical Operations you will provide leadership and support for all non-technical elements of specialist response service delivery. This will involve business support in the areas of business planning, governance, program management and all non-technical elements of service delivery support including day to day business as usual requirements.

As a natural people person you will regularly liaise and work closely with FRV Departments in particular Procurement and Finance to support training delivery outcomes.

You have excellent business acumen and are able to offer strategic support to Technical Operations Command in business planning, service level agreements, contractors to ensure end to end support of specialist response training delivery.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Tertiary level qualifications in a Business Management discipline is essential.

Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in senior service delivery in medium to large complex organisations

In-depth experience and knowledge specifically in the business management, training delivery and wellness in an emergency services context

Conversant in managing departmental budgets

Stakeholder engagement, service level management

A progressive mindset looking forward to continuous improvement, business assurance and meeting governance requirements

Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written)

Professional agility and that you are capable of changing direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new business goals and demands
