Hammerstone is looking for a highly motivated Office Administrator to support our dynamic team in Bowen Hills. This role reports directly to our General Manager and works closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, logisticians, and project leaders. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one – so being well-organised, people-savvy, and outcomes-focused is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be varied, dynamic, and essential to the daily success of our operations. Key responsibilities include:

· Providing executive support including diary management, correspondence, and minute taking

· Coordinating travel, events, meetings, and team logistics

· Managing office facilities and liaising with suppliers, trades, and contractors

· Supporting HR onboarding and staff administration via systems like EnableHR

· Formatting documents, managing files in SharePoint, and ensuring our records are up to date

· Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and clients

· Supporting engineers in the warehouse as needed

· Ensuring the office environment runs smoothly and aligns with Hammerstone procedures

About You

We’re not looking for average, are you:

· A self-starter who doesn’t need micromanaging

· Highly organised, detail-oriented, and efficient

· A confident communicator with a “can-do” attitude

· Comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership

· Excited by the opportunity to grow your role and responsibilities over time

You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to hold a Defence security clearance. Previous experience in a similar role, plus proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Xero and HR systems, will be highly regarded but are not essential.
