To support our growth, Multitech Solutions has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the highly skilled team at our newly refurbished inner-city location. This role will be responsible for the delivery of a very diverse range of projects in a dynamic environment.

Role responsibilities

Successfully deliver the electrical component of a range of exciting projects.

Liaise with other members of project teams to ensure that information flow in both directions occurs in a timely manner.

Electrical calculations.

Provide input into schedules and specifications.

Contract administration including checking shop drawings, answering RFIs and site inspections.

Drafting using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Coordination of multi services drawings, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire and lifts.

Skills and experience

Minimum 2 years experience.

Use of Engineering design packages eg. PowerCad, PowerPack, AGI32, Dialux.

Use of a Windows based PC using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

High level of interpersonal skills.

NBN application experience and local supply authority understanding.

An understanding of issues associated with building services and how they interface with other discipline systems in buildings.

Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work.

Willingness to learn other software packages as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.

At least 2 years building services design experience in Australia, ideally Queensland.

Local knowledge and thorough understanding of Australian Standard.
