Due to recent company growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to become a vital part of our engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Electrical Engineer to deliver innovative solutions across a variety of building services projects.

THE Consulting Engineers is a company that was established in 2021 and is located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative solutions for a broad range of building services projects.
• Develop schematic diagrams, layout drawings, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project plans as part of design phase, including attending meetings with clients, contractors and other engineers.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure designs are implemented correctly, including inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of installations.
• Contribute to managing electrical engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance of designs with industry codes, standards and regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in building services consultancy.
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline engineering team.
• Proficiency in AutoCad, electrical design software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written/verbal and an ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in relation to electrical design and general construction principles.
• Must be located in SE Queensland.
