The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools.

The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board
The Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Business Partner is accountable for the provision of all governance, risk, audit, assurance, and policy services for the SACE Board. The role involves providing expert advice, consultancy, and recommendations on audit, risk and compliance matters to executives and other employees within the Agency to support the achievement of the SACE Board strategic plan, priorities and People and Performance objectives.
What you will BRING
Experience in business partnering worthy of providing feedback and consultation related to existing or emerging risks, internal controls, compliance matters, risk assessments and audit findings.
Proven ability to raise the level of awareness and knowledge of risk management, audit and compliance across the Agency.
Ability to apply holistic change approaches, fostering dialogue with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, embrace opportunities, and achieve aspirational visions.
Ability to manage the SACE Board’s Protective Security Framework, Annual Report activities, as well as acting as a Freedom of Information Officer.
Capabilities to develop strong working relationships and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to take them on the journey of information management.
Competently act as the custodian of Policies at the SACE Board, including reviewing and drafting policies and procedures to ensure all are accurate and appropriate.
Qualifications
Appropriate tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Management or related discipline.
Special Conditions
Some out-of-hours work.
The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.
The incumbent of this position will be required to obtain an Australian Security Clearance; Negative Vetting 1 is required.

Remuneration
ASO7 classification level $108,109 - $116,864 per annum plus superannuation.
This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
