The Role
As Senior WHS & Wellbeing Adviser, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure WHS Due Diligence obligations are met and organisational risks are reduced as far as reasonably practicable. A strong passion for employee wellbeing will also be required as you will be involved in the implementation and continual improvement of ECU’s Wellbeing program.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a WHS safety subject matter authority to provide strategic direction and expertise to ECU Leaders to assist in ensuring Due Diligence obligations are met and essential risk management activities are successfully embedded.
  • Ongoing implementation and continuous improvement of an evidence-based Wellbeing program that will successfully support our people.
  • Driving the development of systems that support targeted WHS and Wellbeing initiatives.
  • Partnering with key site or project leaders to drive culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

You will also be able to contribute to a collegial and fun team dynamic and demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Courage, Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity attracting a remuneration of $119,069 to $134,108 p.a (HEW 8) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
