About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide an efficient and effective client focused administrative service to specialist consultants, staff and patients who utilise the services of the Paediatric Outpatient Clinics.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- High level organisational skills with the ability to manage heavy workloads, competing priorities and the ability to meet deadlines in a constant changing environment. - Demonstrated effective team member skills within a multi-disciplinary team showing initiative in problem solving and an ability to review, develop and implement improvements in conjunction with the team whilst working autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers to resolution of conflict, meet deadlines, readjust daily work priorities to meet a changing work environment.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude to interact effectively and negotiate successfully with all levels of staff and the public, demonstrating tact, diplomacy and confidentiality at all times within established guidelines.
- Perform duties such as searches, booking public and private appointments on the Enterprise Scheduling Managment (ESM) System including the completion of associated paperwork as per District policy and departmental procedures.
