Are you a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a passion for sustainable solutions in the agricultural and farming industry? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a genuine blue chip brand.

About the Role:

This is a unique and impactful role where you will be instrumental in developing and growing our Queensland organic business and significantly building market share within the state.

You will lead the efforts in Queensland, ensuring our processing capabilities support increased input volumes and the growth of end markets for our finished products. A key focus will be on driving sales into the agriculture and farming industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop strategies for growth in organics for the QLD region
  • Liaise with councils and industry clients to develop business opportunities, including developing organics processing and/or outlet markets for manufactured materials
  • Developing end markets for finished products and achieving optimal commercial agreements for ongoing supply.
  • Develop and implement an economical and quality-oriented approach to operational and technical improvements in organic facilities.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven operational experience selling into the Agriculture/ farming industries
  • Technical agronomy knowledge is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing strategies, tenders, and winning business to build market share.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including local, state, and federal regulations regarding organic waste and composting management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and technical planning for the development of organic facilities.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes in organic waste management.
  • Qualifications in environmental science, agricultural science, or mechanical engineering are highly preferred.
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
