About the role

An opportunity for Support Workers to have steady and reliable work starting at 10 hours/week and increasing up to 38 hours/week for the right person, supporting people with a Disability living in their own homes and assisting them in the community. This role requires providing support to several different clients across Southern Adelaide, so a level of flexibility and the ability to adapt is important.

Must be able and willing to provide:

Community access – Transport to and from medical/therapy appointments, advocacy, social access, participation in activities that express personal interests.

Domestic assistance - general tidying, meal preparation.

Activities of daily living - therapy led activities, hobbies, advocacy.

Personal care (case by case) – showering, toileting, dressing, general hygiene and grooming assistance.

About you

Flexible availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends.

An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun while maintaining a client-centered focus.

Ability to think creatively, take ownership, and follow through with activities that benefit and positively stimulate client interests.

Adaptable and 'can do' attitude

Own a car and a driver's license.

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).

National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).

Desired: Experienced in Mental Health supports and advocacy
