About the Role

As a Logistics Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring meals are safely prepared, accurately plated, and delivered in a timely manner to patients, external sites, and special functions. You’ll be an essential part of a team that supports the nutritional care and wellbeing of patients, contributing to a high-quality food service that meets strict dietary and safety standards.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values precision and safety. You’ll follow both written and verbal instructions to meet individual dietary needs while complying with Safe Food Australia Standards and adhering to all safe work practices. About You
You are a reliable and enthusiastic team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service. With experience in catering or food service, you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering high standards of safety and care.
Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work under pressure in a busy food service setting
Proven ability to organise, prioritise and complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes
Knowledge of food safety, WHS, and manual handling principles, with a commitment to safe work practices
Experience in large-scale catering and a hands-on, team-focused approach to service delivery
- Food Safety Guideline and Food Allergen certification.
