Seacliff Primary School Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is seeking an Assistant Director for an immediate start. Our service offers before school, after school care and vacation care. We are seeking a vibrant individual to join our enthusiastic team, to help build and maintain our welcoming and engaging environment and support the Director in the management of the service.

The role of Assistant Director comprises of varied responsibilities, including assisting with the day-to-day operations of the service, managing accounts, supporting and supervising educators during the centre’s opening hours and delivery of program.

Included in this appointment would be taking on the role of Educational Leader, which entails, planning, delivering, evaluating and reflecting on an educational and engaging program for school aged and preschool children, including supervising and supporting our educator team to deliver the program.

About you:

Strong knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards/Areas

Understanding of the Laws/Regulations for Early Childhood Education and Care Services

Strong Knowledge of MTOP and EYLF

Experience in OSHC, school or childcare

Knowledge of Spike economic outlook is a bonus

Strong sense of community

Qualifications

ACECQA approved qualification

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

RRHAN-EC Training

First aid, CPR, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis training or willingness to obtain
