About the Role
Are you passionate about food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? As a Catering Assistant (Level 2), you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality food and beverage service to patients and staff. Your work will contribute to the overall wellbeing of patients by ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard, with a strong focus on freshness, nutrition and presentation.
In this hands-on role, you’ll take on responsibilities beyond those of a Level 1 Catering Assistant, including the preparation of hot breakfast items, managing ingredients and store control, and supporting meal service in the salad and sandwich area. If you take pride in your work, have a great eye for detail, and thrive as part of a collaborative team, we’d love to have you join our catering service.
About You
You are a reliable and motivated team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality service. Your strong communication and literacy skills, along with your commitment to excellence, make you a valuable contributor in a busy catering or support services environment.
Strong literacy skills with the ability to follow written and verbal directions
Able to interpret menus, work instructions, and policies with accuracy
Effective communicator who works well with a range of team members
Committed to customer service, quality, and working positively within timeframes
