This Childcare Centre is a hidden gem based in the heart of the Adelaide Hills with vast amounts of natural outside space and rooms with floor to ceiling windows that flood with light. This well resourced Centre provides a nurturing and welcoming family environment and although it is privately owned, there is a strong sense of community and inclusion for the wide range of children and families the centre supports. Management is passionate about promoting a culture of equity and inclusion for their children, families and staff. They have a focus on delivering high quality, enquiry based programs that involve lots of genuine nature play!

The Opportunity

A rare position has become available for an Assistant Director to work closely with highly supportive long standing management. With a strong focus on being hands on with the team in a coaching and mentoring capacity, your time will be spent working along side the Director as well as across all rooms to support and develop the team of educators.
This is a full time, permanent role across Monday - Friday and will require flexibility to open and close the centre.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have had experience working as an Assistant Director or will be ready for a step up from your current role. You must have a Diploma in Children's services or a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood (or ACECQA equivalent.) In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, and a genuine passion for working with children.

• Hold a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood (Or ACECQA assessed equivalent)
• Current First aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and RRHAN
• Working with children check
